Am I eligible to apply for a scholarship?

To be eligible to apply for a scholarship you must be intending to commence an eligible TAFE Queensland qualification in Semester 1, 2022.

Scholarships are available for students commencing new qualification in Semester 1, 2022 only. Current TAFE Queensland students who are part-way through study are not eligible to apply for a scholarship for a qualification that they have already commenced.

TAFE Queensland Scholarship applicants must be an Australian citizen or Australian permanent resident (passport, birth certificate, visa or citizenship certificate must be provided). A Drivers Licence or Medicare Card will not be accepted.

Employees of TAFE Queensland are not eligible to apply.

TAFE Queensland Scholarships are not available for qualifications undertaken as part of the TAFE at School program.

TAFE Queensland Scholarships are not currently available to international students.

Scholarship recipients must undertake study with TAFE Queensland either on campus or online from Semester 1, 2022. Scholarships will not be awarded for qualifications obtained via Recognition of Prior Learning and/or Credit Transfer.
